Blind Date with a Book is Here!

Blind Date with a Book has begun. To encourage people to try a new author and a new genre, wrapped books with clues are in the library. A drawing for movie passes and other prizes will be held at the end of February for participants. Students can earn additional tickets by writing reviews or by posting about their blind date on social media. More details about the Blind Date with a Book can be found in the library and on social media.

Last Day to Return Books is May 20

The last day to return books is  May 20. If you need your book beyond that date, please make arrangements with Mr. Burrell. Summer checkouts for underclassmen will begin May 21. More information on summer checkouts will be coming.

Summer Checkout Begins May 21

Students may check out books for the summer beginning May 21. All library obligations must be cared for prior to checking out books for the summer. Summer books will be due August 22 (the first Friday of next school year). Enjoy your summer!

eBooks are Here!

The library has obtained a new eBook system. In cooperation with the PA eBook Consortium, Bloomsburg High School students have access to hundreds of nonfiction and fiction eBooks. More eBooks will be added throughout the year so check back often. To access the eBook collection go to http://bloomsd.mackinvia.com on any internet connected device.

Buddy Books

The Buddy Books promotion has begun in the library. Check out a book or eBook with multiple copies with a friend. Read and discuss the book together. Check out the lists at the library display.
